  • 1½# ground beef
  • ½# pork sausage
  • 1 env. onion soup mix
  • ¾ cup soft bread crumbs
  • ½ cup catsup
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • ½ t. oregano
  • ¼ t. basil
  • ¼ t. garlic powder
  • 6 slices boiled ham
  • 2 c. shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Pastry for double crust pie

In large bowl, combine meat, onion soup mix, bread crumbs, catsup, parmesan, 2 eggs, oregano, basil & garlic powder. On foil or waxed paper, form meat mixture into a 10x12 in. rectangle; arrange ham, then mozzarella on top, leaving a small margin around edges. Starting from short end of roll, roll up meat jelly roll fashion, using foil to lift.

Roll pastry to 10x14 in. rectangle, fit over loaf, trimming edges. Prick with fork. Place on rack in baking pan; bake approx. 1 hr. at 350º. Makes about 8 servings.
